About the course:

Vibration Analysis Technology has become a key part of successful Rotating Equipment Reliability and Maintenance for the purpose of monitoring machinery health and early detection of equipment defects. Professional Training is necessary for performing Machinery Condition Monitoring, Troubleshooting and Balancing.

This 4-day course is the ideal starting point for people entering the field of vibration analysis, people collecting vibration data, and those who want to grow in vibration-based CM/PdM. The Vibration Analysis Cat. I course prepares attendees to become experts in the field of vibration data collection and get to know of analysis of vibration signatures. Additionally, it is partial preparation for the Vibration Analyst Category I Certification Exam. The workshops and demonstrations scheduled throughout the training course are used to illustrate theory and applications. This course is in accordance with ISO 18436-2 Requirements for Certification. Individuals meeting the requirements for Category I shall be trained for a minimum of 32 hours and qualified to:
  1. Operate portable vibration analyzers and work with vibration database and routes
  2. Collect quality vibration data from rotating equipment
  3. Recognize typical vibration problems
  4. Evaluate vibration severity and methods of assessing machine condition
  5. Register for Cat. II course and certification

Know The Instructor:

Iraj (Roy) ZARIEH is president of VibeLube Inc., a Trainer, Consultant, and service provider in Reliability, and Condition Monitoring Techniques. Over 20 years, Roy has instructed training courses in ‘Machinery Vibration Analysis’ (level I–II-III) and machinery Lubrication (level I–II). Roy is a certified level III vibration analyst by CMVA & Vibration Institute. His experience spans more than three decades in various industrial sectors with senior engineering roles and strong work experience/portfolio in Advanced Machinery Vibration Analysis.
